## Add a co-borrower

1. 1

Open the client's information form — from New Client when creating them, or from Client Overview afterwards.

2. 2

Click Add Co-Borrower / Spouse. A second block of name, email, and phone fields appears.

3. 3

Fill in the co-borrower's details and save.

4. 4

To take them off, use the remove control on the Co-Borrower / Spouse block. This removes them from the record; it does not delete the client.

## The co-borrower email is a second key

This is the part worth understanding. The workspace is opened by EMAIL. Adding a co-borrower email gives that person their own way in — they sign in as themselves rather than borrowing the primary borrower's link.

1. 5

Either listed email address opens the workspace. Neither needs a password.

2. 6

Both see exactly the same workspace: the same strategies, the same reports, the same tabs. There is no separate or reduced view for a co-borrower.

3. 7

Leave the co-borrower email blank if you do not want them to have their own access. The name still appears on the record and on reports; only the sign-in is withheld.

Because the email IS the access, treat it with the same care as the primary. A typo in the co-borrower email means either a real person cannot get in, or an unintended address can.

## Where the co-borrower shows up

1. 8

On client-facing reports, alongside the primary borrower in the header.

2. 9

In the client workspace, so the greeting and the record reflect both people.

3. 10

On a lock sheet, under Employment & Income, where each borrower's income is captured separately.
